About Nooka Interior

Nooka Interior was founded by Khanh Ho in 2020. She graduated from RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia) with a Bachelor of Interior Design in 2015 and has been working in the industry ever since. Inspired by her father’s passion for design as an architect and her mother’s love for gardening and cooking, Khanh grew up with a deep appreciation for creating beautiful and functional living spaces. She always knew she wanted to help people design homes that feel warm, comfortable, and truly their own.

At 17, she moved to Melbourne, Australia to pursue her degree, then spent seven years working alongside her father in Vietnam before relocating to London in 2023. It was there that she recognized a significant gap—few interior design services truly catered to immigrants like herself, especially within the Asian community. Many come from rich cultural backgrounds with unique needs, yet their homes are often built by contractors who don’t fully understand them. As a result, homeowners struggle to communicate their vision and navigate the renovation process abroad, often ending up with homes that, while well-designed, don’t entirely reflect their lifestyle or aesthetic.

Drawing from her own experiences—including renovating her own home and working closely with local contractors—Khanh is now committed to bridging this gap. With her expertise, cultural insight, and industry knowledge, she helps homeowners bring their vision to life, creating spaces that are both beautiful and deeply personal.
